See how we've grown

.
A couple of gratuitous Merlin-and-Archer pics (taken four years apart) to wish daughter luck in her exams this week.

You can do it!

(Psst - remember to read the question half-way through just to check you're answering what you think you're answering)

They're clearly well-fed cats! Maybe it's a ginger thing: my Titian goddess never stopped eating, and was hugely fat. Ah well, apparently she was rare (gingers are usually toms) so maybe she was just ensuring she wouldn't fade away!

Lovely cats.

My son has his last exam tomorrow. Poor thing is so nervous.

Thanks, all. Exams are nasty things. Good luck to your son, Debs.

Merlin and Archer's mum was ginger, K8, and she was a big cat too. Merlin in particular is always anxious about the fading-away possibility.

On the other hand, my lovely Twizzle was also ginger, and she was a very small, neat cat.

Not forgetting that next door's cat is a mini female version of Archer :D Also, I was going through some old photos and found lots of KITTEN pics of these two, as well as the stash of reality-warped Cambridge colleges and a lot of photos from Year 7 camp that would highly embarrass rather a lot of people...

Okay, it seems my reply to this went decidedly missing. The Quantum exam today went surprisingly well, however Electromagnetism theory and optics (EMO to us lot) and Thermal Physics are going to be a nightmare, and I'm not even thinking about Physics of fluids.

And thank you very much for the good luck, *bows slightly* I'll need it!

Good luck to your daughter. And how lovely to see all the gaorgeous ginger fur - The Floozie is most impressed. And she wants to know what you're feeing your boy.

Give them some head rubs from me and purrs from Sid

Whiskas and Go-cat, twice a day, Floozibell. And whatever is left in Archer's saucer. Or on the floor. Or the bird table. Or the fridge if it isn't shut fast enough.

They are lovely.

Hoepfully your daughter's exams passed without trauma.

Jan Jones said...

Thanks, Michelle. They agree with you :)

Jury's still out until the end of the week on the exams...

Erm, generally, half good, half OHDEARGODWE'REALLGOINGTODIE.

At least I'm not going to be the only one who fails though. Thank you for all your good wishes, and my fate is now in the hands of the god/s (depending on which faith system you're using, I was just quoting Pierce.)
