Hello, snow!

.
East Anglia has turned pretty overnight.

Later on it will no doubt be slushy and not pretty at all...

but for the moment it's all rather beautiful.

We've got it, too. Just gorgeous. Enjoy!

It all looks so lovely until it gets walked on.

Or until one runs out of milk and teabags...

Jan, that looks to me like a Porsche!

(it's certainly prettier than the vehicle outside my house right now)

We have snow too, but not nearly as much as you have. I love it when it looks so pretty.

Yeah, K8, it's amazing what a good helping of snow can do for a car, isn't it?

(Oh, all right, it's a Mazda - not my little Clio at all)

And the snow is all still here. Going to make it interesting getting to the takeaway tonight.

Jan - lovely photos!

Snowy indeed! It's the same here - we still can't get out :oO

Loved Fortunate Wager by the way, I finished it this morning, and am now a convert to your books :o)

Oooh it looks so pretty doesn't it?

Pretty yes. Pretty annoying, though, when it turns to ice and it suddenly becomes a slippery trek to buy a baguatte. But still pretty!

Elaine - thanks for the comment. They are nowhere near as beautiful as the photos that you frequently post. Snow helps, I find.

Karen - So pleased you enjoyed Fortunate Wager! Hope your snow doesn't make getting about tricky.

Jayne - it does look pretty, doesn't it? Though the novelty could wear off quite soon...

Dumdad - ah, yes, nothing quite like a pratfall when you're out on that croissant-hunting mission

Ooops: baguette, not baguatte. Dumdad indeed.

OK, will whoever is responsible for the snow/ice/general nastiness please give it a rest? The novelty has worn off with a vengeance and I'd even welcome some common or garden rain as long as it doesn't freeze. (It's not supposed to snow down here in the Deep South aka Hampshire!)
(My Micra looks like a Christmas pudding when it's covered in snow.)

Word ver: Crorpe - how I feel at the moment, very crorpy!
