Lunch

.
Today I will be mostly having lunch in Cambridge with my pal Elaine. I will feel extremely miffed if I do not get to see lots of photos of her gorgeous new granddaughter.

Sadly, I do not think eating at a table on the balcony in the sun will be involved.

But sticky toffee pudding or Chocolate Boxes might be.

Have a lovely time. And I do hope a few rays of sunshine break through the mist, just to put that extra shine on the puddings :)

Sounds like the perfect way to spend a Wednesday. Have fun.

What fun! I don't get to meet literary chums very often but I do get to meet up with fellow Chalet School addicts in Winchester, where we have 'luscious coffee and cakes, simply blanketed with whipped cream' in Maison Blanc. (But you have to be a Chalet school girl to appreciate it!)

'twas lovely. And there was indeed a chocolate box. And baby photos.
