More, um, libraries

.
Anyone fed up with libraries yet? No? Oh good, because here's my nice table and display at last week's book signing at Newmarket library.

The Regency nibbles (Liz F - this is for you) were little crisp lemon biscuits, cheese straws (well, they had cheese pastry then, but I wasn't going to fiddle about making raised pies, so I adapted the idea), ratafia biscuits, cloudy lemonade and hot chocolate. Which we needed!

Now, don't you wish you'd been there?

I never get sick of libraries even though I work in one! Sounds like a lovely 'do' :o)

Yes I wish I'd been there. I do so miss libraries. Well obviously they have them out here in France, but it's not the same.

I wish you'd all been there too! Although it would have meant me refilling the thermos for the hot chocolate.

Hi French Fancy! I expect the problem with libraries in your neck of the woods is that they're full of French books. Are you allowed to order English ones at all?
